ORTHOPAEDIC AND SPORTS MEDICINE CENTRE

Dr Wilkie Ngai is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 20 years experience in private and public hospital practice.

Having completed the Hong Kong Orthopaedic Training Programme and a Master degree in Sports Medicine at Bath University, UK, he practices general Orthopaedics and Sport Medicine.

Sports Medicine is the branch of medicine that deals with the treatment and prevention of injuries related to sports and exercise. We can help you from your earliest diagnosis through to rehabilitation and regaining your strength and endurance ready to safely and quickly return to your sport.

GENERAL PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physiotherapy is an effective treatment method when pain or injury impacts on your mobility, your work or your lifestyle.

If you have pain, weakness, pins and needles or numbness, dizziness, or simply are having trouble moving around because of injury, surgery, age or a medical condition, then physiotherapy can help.

Our physiotherapists are all friendly, highly experienced and qualified, and regularly undertake further studies to ensure you receive the most up to date treatment.

OFFICE PHYSIOTHERAPY

Office work can take its toll on the fittest body. Long hours sitting hunched over a computer can cause neck and lower back pain, sore shoulders, stiff hips, sore arms and wrists, and trigger headaches and migraines.

Physiotherapy and remedial massage can help you work without pain. If your injury means that you are currently off work, we can help you quickly and safely return to work.

Our experienced physiotherapists will work with you to relieve your symptoms, as well as identify the underlying causes of the pain or injury.

Treatment includes a range of hands-on manual therapies, as well as ergonomic advice, strengthening and stretching exercises, and tactics for ongoing health and wellbeing.
